The Bethany Bronchos and Blanchard Lions will hit the gridiron Friday, September 21, for the ninth annual The Children’s Center Bowl (TCC Bowl). The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital and Bethany Public Schools are excited to continue building on this annual tradition, which has become bigger and better each year.
Patients from The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital will join the coin toss, perform with the cheerleaders, and serve as co-captains at the game.
“We are thankful for Bethany Public School’s support of our patients,” said Albert Gray, chief executive officer of The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital. “We also appreciate the willingness of Blanchard Public Schools to team with Bethany to raise money and compete for the TCC Bowl Cup.”
Both schools work to raise money through various activities like, penny wars, hat day, electronics day and pajama day. Fans also have a chance to show their support for the Hospital by making donations at the gate or in the stands during the game. All proceeds will go towards funding a new therapy pool for the patients.
Local businesses in Bethany will join the community in raising money for the Hospital. To learn more about the Hospital or learn about last year’s TCC Bowl, please click here.
