Care

Patients have complex medical needs as a result of birth defects or complications, traumatic accidents or illnesses.  Average length of stay is 24 months. The age range is newborn to 18 years of age.

Pediatric Medical Rehabilitation 

Staff provide rehabilitation due to a traumatic or congenital injury, sudden illness, or post-surgery treatment.  The average length of stay is 25 days, while the age range is newborn to 21 years of age.

You would have thought a royal family was visiting The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital this week as you walked through the hallways. The patients wore bright gold crowns decorated in jewels they picked out themselves, and the Hospital’s Chaplain, Dorothy Bayles, wore a red royal robe and a crown. Classrooms and offices were decorated with Bible scriptures and inspirational quotes.
